COMMITTEE MEMBER

 

The Role

 

The collective role of committee members is to ensure the effective running of Knutsford U3A, and to have a care for the safety and wellbeing of members, through establishing appropriate policies and by following good practice.

 

General

 

•         Attend Committee meetings as often as possible, which are currently held on the last Thursday afternoon of each month (except July and December) at 2.15pm in the Knutsford Methodist Church

 

•          Participate in discussions to enable decisions to be made

 

•          To be involved in occasional U3A functions

 

There are a range of particular roles that committee members may take on to suit their interests and aptitude, all of which help to ensure the smooth running of the organisation.
