U3A POETRY PLEASE! New members required – join us to enjoy the pleasure of reading poetry.
Meetings are held on the first Tuesday of the month at 2.00pm at Royce Court, Green Street, Off Manchester Road, Knutsford, WA16 0SQ.
The Poetry Reading Group are a friendly group with a good cross- section of ages and interests.
Each month members of the group agree a poet and someone volunteers to give a brief overview of his/her life and work.
Everyone in the group brings along one or two of his/her poems to read out; the traditional poets are most popular. Towards the end of the meeting we read any poems we have enjoyed.
