Our meetings are held on the morning of the second Tuesday of the month in one another’s homes. There are currently 10 members and so unfortunately we have no vacancies. 

Over a cup of coffee we listen to some background notes on the author of that month’s chosen book and then we are open to discussion. We read books from all genres, selected as they are by our members. Naturally the reception is mixed, consequently our discussions are always enjoyable and stimulating.  

Books read.

For review purposes each member gives the book a score out of 10. Individual scores are added together and converted to a percentage. Then at the end of the year each book is given a ranking and we can see easily how we as a group rated the books for any one year A member who is unable to attend the meeting can still submit a score and a few comments which are recorded and can also be used in our meetings.
